clouds strobing
« on: June 23, 2017, 09:35:30 PM »
Clouds where strobing, seemed like the big dark thick weather front ones, and just 1 block..kinda looked like lightning ...
but not really... strobing, eye catching... headache inducing... a tad unpleasant was my point of view..
not sure what map it was sorry..

Whatever terrain was in effect last night (6/23) I noticed the same thing climbing out on a bombing mission.  Just one "chunk" of clouds was flickering like a bad light bulb.

Another thing that seemed weird was that as we flew for miles above the unbroken cloud layer then reached the end of it to where we could see the ground when looking down/ahead, when I looked backward in the F3 view, there were no clouds there.  Looked like visibility was 20 miles or more.  Two seconds earlier we couldn't see the ground.  That seemed kinda strange.
