I dont know if this is a bug but it is something that needs to be changes. When The game opens I get the WWI arena and some other empty ones. I have been on this game for years and I for a brief moment thought that wow the arena really is dead now and quit. Only after looking closer did I notice that the MA was on another tab.
The MA should be on the opening tab... thats my $0.02 worth.

It's not a bug, it's a design change. All the free arenas are shown first, since they are available to anyone, even those new players who will try the game for the first time because it is completely free.

Sorry that your night of flying was cut short because you didn't look closer.

I just learned last night that we can move the tabs in the hanger (fighter, bomber, all, favorite, etc.) left or right. We cannot do the same with the opening screen tabs eh?

No big deal, i get the change; to have free arenas up front.

Saw it in alpha/beta too. Maybe bigger tabs that say Free Arenas, Melee Arenas etc or have them flash in sequence like runway lights.

This game is a lot of you only know what someone tells you or what you're willing to go dig for or what you stumble across.  I know there is an instruction manual somewhere but never bothered going to search for it.  Things are not nearly as intuitive to newbies as they could be.  But, I guess if ya wanna play aces high you find a way, I did.

We are all used to logging in and going click click click, to get in the game as quick as possible.  Suddenly people aren't seeing what they are used to. It's traumatic because we can't get into our airplanes.   

I saw it because I've been looking at the free arenas.  I want to try to get some friends in.

Maybe it might be better to take players to the tab for the last arena they were in, for new players with no prior history take them to the free arena tab.

Why don't we use an accordion tab system from top to down? so you can see all the arena's at once.

Because people expect UIs to beat you over the head with all the information.  Available isn't good enough, it needs to be there in front of you and flashing.
