The Korean Conflict (1950-1953)

A bold expansion that rivals other combat sims but with better flight dynamics.

WWI expansion: Axis and Allied fixed wing bombers(1 ea.), Zeppelins (German only), and Axis and Allied tanks (1 ea.).

Spanish Civil War expansion: BF-109 and I-16 SCW mods, 1939 Japanese fighter, Axis and Allied SCW bombers (1 ea.), 1939 Japanese bomber, Axis and Allied SCW tanks (1 ea.), 1939 Japanese tank.

Pre-U.S. WWII (Europe) expansion: French Dewoitine D.520, Battleship Bismarck.

Post U.S. WWII pt.1 (1942-1943) expansion: Shinano class aircraft carrier.

Post U.S. WWII pt.2 (1944-1945) expansion: Yamato class battleship.

The Korean Conflict (1950-1953): F-86 Sabre jet, MiG-15 jet.

18 new models, 2 model mods ... 37 years of dogfighting (and ships and tank stuff) war.

(Well, there was a day this mighta worked. Lots of work. Would take as long ... or longer ... as he graphic update, maybe. It'd be cool to see just one of the expansion segments develop. ) :)

A very interesting idea and enourmous amount of work for Dale and the crew.  A big cost vs payoff decision.  +1

Ario, are the game mechanics the same as they are now, based on capture the flag?  If any sizeable investment is made, I'd hope it would be to improve the present game.

I love the game. Even as I'm not currently active. I've always had grandiose ideas/daydreams for it. If I win the lotto, I'd love to buy into it and, in doing so, purchase influence. But I've always thought Dale and inc. had both a good product and business model. Plenty of ideas have hit this wishlist, over the years. Lots of players have presumed to know what's better. I sure hope I've never come across that way.

Over the years I've asked for:

1. A Spanish Civil War plane set and arena.

2. Sherman Tanks

3. Battleships

4. DD torps

5. SM.79 Sparvieros (and yes, there's a relation to #1 but increasing the Italian set ain't bad).

6. I-16

7. Italian, Japanese and U.S. light tanks

8. A Korean War arena

9. Junkers Ju 52

10. Douglas TBD Devastator

11. Yokosuka D4Y (in conjunction with the TBD)

12. Goonie formations (mass drops made easier by a single player)

13. FPS (in a limited fashion and also in a not so limited one)

(Possibly more.)

I've also challenged other player's wishes (and supported some).

In the end, I (like others), still dream of this game expanding but I also want the game to just keep being here, for all of us (I plan to resume playing).

So I guess I just mixed and mashed up all my old wishes (the ones that didn't already come to fruition) and made my ultimate wish - even though I'm aware that there are practical limitations and that I just pretty much shot the moon. Well, it is the anniversary for moon shots. :) ;) :D

Great ideas.  Best way for this to happen will require 10X more the active players with existing game.

You suggested 6 arenas - you will end up with 1 populated and 5 empty arenas.
Mosquito VI - twice the spitfire, four times the ENY.
