The Allies have plenty of scary fighters of their own: LA-7, Yak-3, P-47M. The rest are not even close to being bad. Not even mediocre, really.

The La7 and Yak3 (and Yak 9u which imho is better than the -3 ) are pretty meh over 15k. At 20k the K4 has 40mph on the La, and the 109D9 has about 20mph.  In fact the LAs boost means it pretty much sucks the kumara between 7 and 16k as well. The 109K4 still whoops the 47M up 25k - which is where the combat is going to be.

As I read it the A8 and G14 are entirely optional?

If the Allied CiC's can't identify the advantages you have and plan accordingly, that's their fault. I think you'll find that if the player numbers are within the expected attendance, that the event will play out very evenly - assuming the same level of competence across both sides. The Allies have the tools to be very successful, I'm sure LilMak will use them well when the 56th has CiC.

Yes. I would expect to see both used, though. The A-8 is very useful, and some guys prefer the G-14 over the K-4.

Thank you, puller. We were worried about this one, rather radical. I would like to do anything and everything to make it balanced in the eyes of all players. Hard to do sometimes.

LilMak, I understand what you are sayingbut as I have seen from past FSO and scenario's are attacking fighters (ie. the 190A8, which is my ride of choice) once you get on us we almost have no way of defending so we are basically "free kills" for you guys. Now I'm one of the few that fly the A8 almost all the time in the MA. and when ever a FSO. or scenario has it so I have a slight advantage, even then I get shot down almost every time a P47M gets on me so it will be a turkey shoot on the ones that fly them that don't fly them very often.

Please don't be offend, that's not the reason for my post. I'm just saying, that's all.

I’d like to apologize. Seems it wasn’t as bad as I thought it was going to be.
