BIG move in near future
« on: November 01, 2018, 03:12:11 AM »
Hey Guys, I will be moving to West Virginia...near Ripley/Ravenswood area(Kenna to be exact). So question for you. True I could have looked up any available Internet providers for this area but I wouldnt really know what I should be concerned with. So...what should I look for, when choosing a Provider? Price is NO issue, so can pay extra for PREMIUM services, if offered. I play A LOT..so I know I need to see about any DATA limit. How much DATA would my typical hours of game play use up...IF any? I know updates would affect this, just not sure about every thing else :uhoh

The only concern for AH is a stable wired connection.

Aces High is probably the most frugal online multiplayer game in the industry.  Windows 10 telemetry should be more of a concern.

The exact amount we use floats as it will depend on many factors.  How many other players are around you is the biggest factor.  It could range from 60KB/hour to,..maybe around,....250KB/hour.

About the only time we use a lot of data bandwidth is patch time.  A large patch can be around 350MB.  Still pretty frugal compared to other applications.

It's likely you'd only have to worry about data limits of you stream a ton of HD movies.

Check with Spectrum. I have that provider and it is awesome. I have TV and internet with them. I have all the premium channels and unlimited internet(Ethernet) and unlimited wifi date. I wouldn't recommend Verizon since one of my squady has it and he complains a lot about connection issues. Yes He lives in West virginia...Just saying tho…….Like I said above I recommend Spectrum.
