This is pretty cool, they shoot a Sherman tank gun and a Russian 152 mm.

The best part was watching the 152mm hydroplane off of watermelons!

I would assume it wasn't a factory load. Probably not moving anywhere near the actual speed needed to stabilize the projectile.

One of the reasons that owners have started to use the external trigger is that a gun blew up on someone recently. So you probably won't see hot loads again.

Many of the 8,8cm guns have gone to black powder only, because the forcing cone of the guns are no longer available and as the inner liner becomes more 'experienced' it can cause a major malfunction. Countries like New Zealand (I believe, don't hold me to that) no longer allow importing of those parts and post manufacture is prohibited. In America we have a few more freedoms and the restoration of these guns continues in at least two locations I am aware of.
