Please switch to country Bishop and report to V10
tower.  If you are in a Scenario squad, then please
withdraw to join a Racing Team.  Players in Racing
Team colors (Silver or Gold) are required for official
score.  Please be in arena 30 minutes prior to event
for Team Rosters.

Race Setup:
Players will start at V10 Vehicle Hangar (9,10 kp 1)
and on the text command GO!!!!  They will race Southeast
overland to A15 (9,9 kp 5) which represents the scheduled
Pit Stop and drive to the nearest rearm pad and receive
a successful 30 second rearm.  Once the Pit Stop has
been completed, racers will continue Southeast overland
to A16 (9,8 kp 9) and End Sortie for a successful landing. 

This is a one life event.  Players will have 2 Vehicle
Supplies to help Team members should a team mate suffer
an accident and needs assistance.  Players must be in
a Team Uniform (Gold or Silver Team) for official score. 

Race is finished when all upright players have reached
the finish line or all players have crashed and are
unavailable for rescue.

Race Scoring:
The first place position is the lowest time from V10
launch to the pit stop successful rearm (A15) to End
Sortie at A16 for a successful landing.  The next
lowest time for each succeeding position for all
racers. Cannonball Run style.  If you are the last
racer out the hangar, then your time starts then. 
The last racer out the hangar can still win the race
if the first racer takes longer to finish.

Players who arrive after Fields Closed or can no longer
fly the event can watch from CM Eye View. Go to clipboard,
click Options, click Controls, click Map Keys, click View
Select CM Eye Move Forward to highlight, click F7 and click
Set Key.  In Tower, click F5 for outside tower view, click
F7 to activate CM Eye Move Forward. Use throttle control for
speed and joystick to move left, right, up, and down.

That was a decision to allow more players to participate due to Tuesday night obligations.  Easyscor, have you participated in the Tuesday events?  Do you have a different game ID?

Turt, you posted that you were eager to play for Total Annihilation on Week 3 and Torpedo Run Alley for Week 4 and never showed up.   

These events are in the beginning phase.  Working out issues the best way possible.  I am trying to be very gracious and accommodating for all.  Non-combat events are a hard sell with our smaller community than 10 years ago.  One of the best ways to look at these events as good practice for the Main Arena.

1) Jeep racing where you don't have to worry about being killed by a tank.
2) Base capturing with a C-47 and no worries about red guys and enemy ack.  Practice landing, taxiing and rearming without being vulched.
3) Destroying ground targets with no enemy fighters providing better bombing accuracy.
4) Sinking ships with no enemy fighters, ship gunners and non-lethal ack to practice torpedo attacks.

All the while, having fun and winning points for bragging rights.

Things might evolve down the line.  Things might change.

No. I wanted to do the last jeep race but can't remember if I was ill or in the middle of "upgrading" from Win7 to Win10. After 3 months, finally healthy again and Win10 mostly working, mostly.
