Monday Jan 27th AK Mission

This is short notice but the Arabian Knights will be running a high altitude bombing mission at 9PM EST/ 8PM CST in the Main Arena on the country Knights.  Bomber pilots and escort pilots are invited to join.

B-24s and B-17s are the bombers.  I will have a pickup mission for the bomber created 30 minutes prior to takeoff.  We will be using the unique method of "Bomb on Command" for the bomber pilots.  Those who have not experienced this will be amazed on how close virtually we can make an authentic WW2 mission.  Myself and AKBmzawy will be leading the bombers and just follow our instructions and you will have a great time.  Those who participate in Fortress Europe will be aware of how we do this.

Escort pilots are to launch with ride of choice and all the fuel they can carry.

Bishop and Rook players be ready to defend.  We do ask to get the Luftwaffe birds in the sky.  Depending on map, we will try "Running the Gauntlet" between your countries.

That was nice to see, congrats to you guys.  By the time I logged on, there was no way I could get to B-24 altitudes, but I watched you and the escorts go by.  Well done.

P38J had plenty of fuel for the mission and then some. I ended with no kills but I was just pushing cons down below the buff stream. At that point it was back above the big birds.
