She has always been my favorite.
I just wish it was easier to find a decent shot like the first and third that was posted without having modern vessels around her. See her as she was seen back i the day. Modern boats just ruin the shot unless its your boat that in it.

Speaking of old ships.
Is there anyone else who has always though that the story of the USS Bonhomme Richard vs the HMS Serapis would make a fantastic movie?

For those that dont know. that is the engagement where John Paul Jones upon having been asked to surrender responded with "I have not yet begun to fight"

Just read "Six Frigates" a couple months ago by Ian Toll - Excellent book on this ship and her 5 sisters (more or less), which essentially began the USN.  Love to see the USS Constitution one of these days...
