New to me computer. Saved AH from old comp which was running game without any major issues. Downloaded fresh install of of AH. First msg shows up at sign in. All others after game loads. Cant even get on squad channel but can hear range chatter. Any ideas? DX Diag included. Also I am running it from vid card not integrated graphics. Other comp was also running win10.

If you're using your old settings folder try it without the old settings.

Rename the settings folder "old settings". The game will make a new folder when you restart it.

If you need to see what's inside those files, use Notepad. You can even make changes with it.

I deleted game and reinstalled fresh without importing any old files. Still same issue.

Your issue is that you still get messages that cfg files can't be open? 

Are the files write protected?

Did you try running as administrator?

That worked. Now to get this comp to recognize me as admin so I dont have to right click and select "run as admin" every time. Thank you for the help.

Unless you've created two accounts and are using the one with restricted privileges you already should be an admin there. That doesn't inherit to the programs, though.

You can make a program to run as admin by right clicking the icon>Properties>Compatibility tab and checking the Run as Admin box. You can also click the Change for All Users button and make the change there.
