May 2021 KOTH A Results

Deja vu all over again like last month. Congratulations TC on another win.
Logs are up and round by round results will be up in a day or three.
Info was passed up the food chain regarding choice of perks.

May's KOTH lasted about an hour and twenty minutes and we had seven rounds. Barely enough for a good event with only seven people flying but we did manage to get two wabbits.
Congratulations and -{S}- to TC for winning the event and he chose the F4U-1 for June's first ride.

Round by round results:
1} trogdor in a C.202
2} trogdor in a Spitfire Mk. XIV   {Wabbit}
3} ZaZa in a Bf 110G-2
4} Eagler in a Spitfire Mk. IX
5} TC in a Bf109G-2
6} TC in a P47D-11   {Wabbit}
7}  TC wins in a F4U-1

TC, trogdor, and Eagler get TOC reservations.
Top killers were TC with 11, Eagler with 8, trogdor and vinkman with 6 and HORRIDO1 with 4.

Doesn't ZaZa get a TOC invite also for winning a round?

Winning a single round of a KOTH does not, and in my  oinion, should not get a TOC reservation.

But yet at the same time there seems to be a issue with low attendance for the monthly KOTH as you stated above..

Seems you have the ability to populate the year end event by allowing single round winners in but won't?

Have to disagree as I think single round winners should get an invitation. Maybe it would increase the monthly KOTH numbers..

We had a low turnout for the last TOC as not all invited showed up remember?

TOC attendance is always low and 25% seems to pop into my mind.
If KOTHers want single round winners in the TOC let me know.
I’ve always followed that reasoning, after all it’s your event.

In our previous discussions about attendance I don’t think single round winners were ever considered but consistently attending gets you an invitation.

Adding- To bad hours of great dog-fighting isn’t enough of a draw in a WW II air combat game to interest folks to keep returning month after month.

And to be really honest I’m probably a large reason many don’t attend KOTH.
