Couple of things; Mint mobile and WD40
« on: March 27, 2022, 10:30:38 AM »
No not both at the same time.

Mint mobile; anyone try it or use it? Looking for a new more cost effective carrier.

WD40. Whats up with the ‘put WD40 into your gas tank’ campaign? I’ve started to see many references to doing this lately.

WD-40 allegedly has a number of benefits to offer when added to gasoline.

One is that it helps clean the fuel tank.  I have no idea how dirty the inside of a car's gas tank can get because I've never seen inside one.  I'm sure someone knows.

It can also eliminate (not sure how) contaminants, such as water, in the gas.

Apparently, IRMV depending on the type of gas you use and the type of car you drive.  However, I don't really see the benefit of adding 8oz of WD-40 (at $21.50/gal) to 16-18 gallons of gasoline.  It sounds to me like a modern version of snake oil, but that's just my opinion.

I can see the water thing a little; after all its Water Displacement 40, but its also lubricants which doesn't sound good.
Vehicle-  :rofl:rofl :headscratch:   a 1994 Plymouth Voyager SE that just reached 110,000. A youngster mileage wise, but rusting away. Just installed it’s third catalytic converter.
May show a picture in June if I paint D-Day stripes on it. One of the benefits if having an old vehicle with a lousy paint job.

Hmm, Cricket; chirp chirp. Looking at them….

Hmm Max won the F1 race.  :bolt:

You can buy WD-40 by the gallon, in a non-aerosol.  Just pour 8oz in a cup, fill up half the tank, give or take, pour in the WD-40, and then fill the tank.  Some people might need a funnel.  Glad to know you think this is hilarious.  I don't even think it makes sense.

Transmission fluid in diesel is good for the injectors.

I just use AT&T because I need good coverage. When we camp, we often have friends use our phones because theirs get no connection.

Easily: WD40 isn't sold just as spray cans, they sell it in gallons as well. The Americans also know about a novelty invention called "funnel" which helps pouring the oil to the fuel tank without too much dripping.

I get decent coverage with them, too -- Cricket is owned by and uses AT&T network.
