From your own article...
"Another lie. Anyone surprised?" Jordan, an Ohio Republican, wrote on Twitter in a message on his official account that quoted a story about Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost's office initially saying it had not found any evidence to support the rape charge."
So in response to the Ohio Attorney General saying at the time that there wasn't any evidence, his response seems reasonable. I'm sure you would agree with that.
Clearly now there seems to be evidence and the corresponding tweet was removed.
In what way was Jim Jordan politicizing the issue? The issue was already politicized by the activist left and Jordan responded reasonably to the facts he knew at the time.
If you are going to complain about politicizing the event, why not complain about the fact that the 27 year old rapist was an illegal immigrant and many media outlets suppressed that information or that according to the Ohio Attorney General, the girl did not need to go to Indiana since the Ohio law she was supposedly forced to go there for also had a provision that would have allowed her to simply get an abortion in Ohio instead of going to Indiana and then making a national political event out of the unnecessary trip?
I'm not saying Jordan isn't political in his opinions at time, I'm just saying the validity of your thought process as it seems notably biased.
