ww2ol shouldnt need a kickstart donation, their income should more then sufficiently handle the servers. Look as AH, they are still kicking even though this game will never see any new aircraft or gv again in its lifespan. If ww2ol were so desperate for money they wouldnt be constantly adding in new weapons/infantry/etc. They even have that builders program that you pay extra for just to get extra perks. Sounds like whoever wrote that article is some chicken little behind a keyboard

was determined that it's not ww2 online, but Hero's & Generals that is trying to get a kickstarter going

WW2 is still the best air combat.   :airplane:

Yep.

WWI, you have the upper wing in the way of forward-up view, so not as popular for air combat.

Korean War, planes are too fast.  So you get 1000 yard shots at a dot on the screen, and a long time to do a 180 degree turn.  Combats are too slow, and range is too long.

Modern War, let some missiles fly at beyond visual range.  How good are your computers, sensors, and missiles?

WWII is the golden age of dogfighting.  The best combination of plane performance, view, range, time to do a 180.
