Been coming up here for work for 6 years now, and have seen more interesting aircraft suddenly appear overhead than anywhere else I’ve been.
Few years back I heard what to me is the distinctive sound of older aircraft engines……and along came an Avenger, followed by an F4F, then a couple of what I suspect were AT-6 Texans modded to represent Japanese aircraft….
Other sightings over the years occurred, usually during these warm spring/summer days.
Then this morning, I hear jet engines and look up to see two A-10’s flying in formation, apparently on final approach to the. Knot airport. The approach takes a lot of aircraft right over the Cameron yard I am working in today, so I’m hoping to see more interesting planes.
