Convoy Defense

While I know the truck convoys to the bases don't really do anything anymore, I think it would it would be realistic to have an M16 running with the convoy for defense. Much like the Gun cars with the trains.

I agree.  If we are allowed to attack strat, then attacking supply convoys and trains should still have an effect.

That's right. If there is an additional M16 running with the convoy for defense, the combat power will increase greatly

The train guns currently shoot at friendlies.  Need to fix that before arming convoys.

What about an ability for a downed pilot to have a backpack with say 30 landmines in it and he can plant these?

Why not naval mines at same? They are extremely effective against strat runners.
