I feel exactly the same way. So much so that I deleted my account last week and now only fly fighters in the Match Arena and practice bombing missions in offline missions. I’m still trying to figure out how to use the bomb sight while using the Quest3. At this point I find it doubtful I will ever possess the skill level to challenge anyone to a duel let alone pay a dollar every time I got killed.

The first time I tried it it took me a few minutes to realize that you have to tip your head down to actually look through the bomb site! What a cool touch. Everything else is the same for calibration. I have setup a Voice Attack command to do the whole calibration sequence now, but to have to look down through the bombsite! So Cool!

Well damn! I will have to try that! Hope you’re not pulling my leg. And thanks for the VA tips! The calibration routine works great! I’m still torn between VR and TrackIr. I have both set up to run on my machine.

Im not kidding about the bomb site.

I like VR much better for the feel. I do wish it could be setup with the curves like TrackIR, but you can still use the hat switches.

I sometimes enjoy players taking the game a little too seriously. It breaths life into it. As long as its not me. Most of us old skewl jockeys, been there, done that, have all the T-Shirts.

After decades some of us just flail around taking in all the memories repeating themselves. Including every current convo, troll, antic, rockstar on these forums. There’s nothing new, just the names have changed. Too many of us have gone home.

It’s an endorphin release to keep reliving some of our favorite times.

It’s certainly worth a McDs happy meal, but more better.
