Honest problems rampant at HTC....
« on: March 09, 2001, 12:00:00 PM »
This is kind of a silly troll but I am amazed how they added so much FUNctionality to the new release AND all those planes.
Pyro said after the last release(where they added a wack of planes and the ships etc.) that this release would be just new planes.
What a crock. Obviosly we cant believe a word these guys say.
Totaly new and excellent night effect.
Excellent sun blindness effect.
Excellent gun rattle and hightspeed dive rattle effect.
New dialog enhancements in hanger.
Excellent check 6 funcionallity..Yankee do a check 6 wav for us!!!
Lots of additions for scenario and head to head set up.
And the new score page functionality that has livend up that whole area of the game...

These are collectivley a massive enhancement to this game.
I think it would be a shame to take such elegant revision of the game for granted... We should keep in mind just what advantage we get as customers from this slim responsive develepment team with skin that is this
(............................. .....)
thick.
Thanks HTC

I totally agree.  If HTC insists on releasing features we weren't expecting or warned about I'm going to have to look for a more traditional company to do my buisness with.

I agree; GROSS INCOMPETENCE on the part of HTC...

I mean, with other games, you get at LEAST 1 1/2 years of screenshots, and 7-8 interviews with the designers before an update.

Here? Sheesh. They put out an update, and then ANOTHER one a few months later, before you're even ready, with only a couple crummy screenshots and no interviews in between..

Get with the program; this update should have come out in June 2002, and you should have gotten 2-3 interviews each with SimHQ, Dogfigter.com, Combatsim, Computer Gaming World, etc.
