Are you people living in the dark ages?  Text listing of your DVD's?   How quaint.

Doberman's DVD Listing

Any of you DVD fans not using this program better get using it quick. :)  Far and away the coolest way of cataloging your collection.  http://www.dvdprofiler.com

AK, you married?  I see an aweful lot of Chick Flicks in that list.  You've Got Mail?  When Harry Met Sally?  And you've actually got the stones to post 'em in public. ;)

Nice list, except that you're missing Tron, Flash Gordon (1980 version), and John Carpenter's The Thing.

Utterly inexcusable absences IMO.  :)

Tron I haven't seen at a decent price yet.  I'm not paying over $20 for many DVDs.

The others I just haven't stumbled across yet.

Magical programs these days do things like exporting. :)  I've always got an up-to-date list on my Visor also.

I won't pay more than $20 for a movie only disk (unless it's something I just HAVE to have) but the kick bellybutton special editions like the new Tron are WAY worth the $30 price tag.

That movie was supremely haunting.  You need to watch it several times to really get full value.  The cinematography and attention to detail are staggering.  And there is that blithely lyrical juxtaposition of incredible unspoiled natural beauty and the stark horror of war.  Mesmerizing.   I liked the Melanesian choir chants so much I bought the soundtrack.  Good stuff

My old pal Tim Nelson, the guy that played Delmar in O' Brother Where Art Thou, had a bit part in it  He uses the same hick accent, hehe.

The director, Terence Malick, is an Okie, like Delmar, MrFish and me.

Check out "Days of Heaven" sometime.

Another gotta have DVD is "The Man Who Would Be King."
