I think it's time for a third political party in this country, and not some whinny, gov't regulation pushing, protect us from our selves, 5% of the population, party.

Well a few years ago a friend of mine had this idea, we need to find a large group with similar ideologies, from opposite parties, to bring together to form the largest most powerful political party ever, and he found 2 large groups that would work.

Pot smokers and gun owners. The American Pot & Pistol Party

Now I know these groups don't typically get together but that’s the idea, we both want the gov't off our back and if we could just put aside our differences we could be the largest political party in America.

I’ve already been working on slogans-

"We are 'The American Pot & Pistol Party'- armed in a laid back sort of way"

"Fully Loaded"

When I was in Arizona I drove past a drug store called "Drugs and Ammo"....I wish I had my camera!

I can just see some guy who goes there to pick up his anti depressant prescription and finds out they are out of stock....I guess he then resorts to option #2!

When I lived in Missouri, I went to Lake of the Ozarks, and (as Dave Barry would say) I’m not making this up. I saw a store called "Billy bob's trading post" and there where 3 signs under the name, they simply said - Guns, Ammo, packaged liquor
