Saitek X45 USB

Salute!

First of all system specs:
PIII 700
Abit BX6 rev 2
256 mb
win98 SE
SB annhilartor pro (det 6.31)
SB audigy mp3+ (current drivers)
56K connect

I just purchased the X45 and I'm having trouble getting it calibrated in AH.  I've downloaded the hazardscript and the associtated drivers for it and everthing seems to be ok in windows (calibrated, buttons work, all axis works).

When I go into AH, into setup I select the X45 (I still have my TM stuff set up).  I set the roll to axis x, pitch to y, throttle to z and rudder to RZ.

The problem is nothing is calibrated.  So I select roll, calibrate the stick by moving side-to-side several time, select pitch and move j/s up-and-down several times and continue on thru until all axis are "calibrated"  Except when I calibrate the throttle, it messes with the pitch and vice versa.  The other thing is that the rudder doesn't want to self center in calibration as well.

How should I be going about this?  I read in a previous post that stick mapping messed with the rotarys etc and I certainly would like to keep those if at all possible.

This may or may not have been discussed in other posts (I looked but was unable to find it) and could really use some help.  My TM stuff is just about dead.  If anyone has a good HSP file they wouldn't mind sharing, you could email me direct at modas@cutthroats.com.

I appreciate all the help!  Thanks!

As you have Windoze 98SE why not use SGE 3.0?

Never mind the calibration.  I got that working.
The reason why I'm not using SGE 3.0 is cuz I read on some post that hazardscript was the way to go. As I don't know my fanny from a hole in the ground on this saitek stuff, I thought I'd just dive in and give a a try.

Just a general questions tho, do I have to assign an AH function in the setup to every button on the j/s?  I've downloaded a profile into the stick, but it seems that some of the buttons on the throttle are working but none on the j/s itelf are working. :D

thanks for the help
