109G2

The first to recieve the G2 was JG 2 Richtofen when Stab and I/JG 2 began to convert from the FW190A during late April 1942.

In response to the Soviet introduction of the Lavachkin La-5, an initial batch of 16 Bf109G-2s were shipped to Finland during early 1943.

I am working to find difinate Speed and Range.

The La-5 was introuduced in the Autumn of 1942. By this time the G-2 was the most numerous LW plane present.

The version AH models, the La-5FN - FN stands for 'Directly Boosted' - made its combat debut at Kursk, in July 1943.

Fariz,

I have several sources of info on the La's, FW's, Yaks, and IL-2's:

Shavrov V.B. "History of USSR Aviation Design 1938-1945"
 Alekseeenko V., Nikolsky M. "Lavochkin's fighters LaGG-3, La-5XX, La-7, La-9/11"
 Kudishin I. "Fighter FW-190"

There are plenty of info - including pics, drawings, characteristic tables, dates of serial production and front lines appearance, etc.

Let me know, if you need -- I will scan some pages and send it to you.

EDIT: No deatiled info on Bf109 and Ju88 ,sorry.
