That was the end result of my nerve wracking landing.
Was 5 miles away from the field, 500ft above the water, 400mph and and my fuel ran out.
And that field was none other than at A43 in Baltic map.. where the runway has hills on BOTH ends. I had to pull nose up to clear the northern hill, nearly stalled , had to nose down hard while pulling full flaps out, the 262 somehow got to 210mph.. no way to deploy gear, at this point I had missed 1/4th of the runway, ruddered like a mother until I finally got the wheels out and touched the dirt... and the 262 brakes took a looooooong time to stop my lil' jet. The pic you see is where i stopped. Pipz was watchign the whole thing.
