What the hell is the damn problem here? Why is it the USA's fault this crap is happening?

We're not the frikken police. The USA does not...repeat...does NOT have to come to anybody's rescue if we don't want to. Guess what? We don't want to. Given a choice between Isreal and Palestine, Isreal is the better....or should I paraphrase Donald Rumsfeld and say "least worse" choice.

Yeah, so what? We didn't attack Russia for selling all those MiGs, T-62 tanks, and SAMs to Iraq either.

1st, the USA is not the only subject of terrorist attacks. There are plenty of other nations that suffer at the hands of muslim extremists.

2nd, the USA squeels loudest when bit. Hollywood and the US media are easily manipulated by these organisations. For example, the PA vehemently try to control what footage is shot in that conflict. 6 months back footage was smuggled out that showed PA police engaging Israeli forces, despite the PA denying such things ever happened. The report took great risk in getting it out. The US media often tries to avoid falling into the sensationalism, but rarely does it avoid it. Its like the ultimate troll.

3rd, the USA symbolises a significant portion of what these people despise. Or at least the terrorists perceive it that way.

Yep, and I kinda like what John Stewart said about Bin Laden..

a millionaire heir that drastically increased his fortune by investing in the market, has 50 something wives and several mansions...and who hates the western world for its capitalistic ways and decadent lifestyles.

The reason is that USA has given billions and billions of dollars to Israel. Something like 30% of all US foreign aid goes to Israel. Much of that money is used to fund their military. It's quite easy to see the IDF as a US proxy army.
