Trouble with free mouse-look
« on: April 06, 2002, 03:27:45 AM »
Greetings,

still having problems to setup free mouslook correctly in AH - the mouse is still "de-calibrated". View starts somewhere 2 o'clock high and I can't get it to the left side at all. Can anyone help me to set up mouse-view correctly?

I need mouslook for the Track-IR I got recently. Works great in IL2 - now I want to use this amazing piece of technology in conjunction with AH!!! Puuuuuhhhleeeeeze - anyone help me!!!

Alright, investigated some more and searched some old threads on free mouslook.

What I found out:

Mouselook works perfectly as long one does not try to calibrate the stick. E.g.: delete stick.cfg file --> mouselook works. As soon as you calibrate the stick I assume AH wants to calibrate the view axis as well - which naturally does not work with a mouse --> mouselook screwed up!

Hitech - can you offer me a work-around for this? Need to trim the stick and want to use mouselook!

Awaiting a solution... :)

Ok, settled with the fact that I cannot calibrate my stick when wanting to use mouse-freelook...

Deleted stick.cfg file and fired up the Track-IR software. New problem: when the Track IR software is running I cannot get AH to enter pan-mode... remapped the key, paused Track IR - no avail - AH refuses to enter pan mode... grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Help needed! HT, please...
