this thing was te bane of the 9th AF Jabo Jug squadrons. I read ina book recently about this thing. Thye feared it MUCH. Its rate of fire is pretty fast:)

Most likely. However the book I read said that flakwagon was very prevelant. They were everywhere during the battle of the bulge campaigne, and the battle of the Hurtgen Forest.

mannable high caliber (88s, 90mm) flak guns could be pretty entertaining - who says GV has to be mobile? of course setting the fuse time & adding radar aiming (for the 90mm anyway) would probably be a big pain in the tail assembly for whomever has to program new controls, & manning the gun could be pretty boring if no E/A fly over your field
