Ok, how about user-defined squad colors?
« on: July 24, 1999, 01:49:00 PM »
and insigna and nose art ???

You guys should consider this, if nothing else, so I and my squaddies will stop complaining about the lack of 4th FG color!

Of course, to avoid abuse, somebody will have to sanction the "changes", but please try to put some thoughts on the subject.

On the same philosophy, how about user defined terrains and mission and other stuff like that.

This Open API concept is proven to encourage community partecipation and longevity to the product.

Hoping to hear some answers on this one..

Cya up!

I would settle for the squad highlite and a color adjustable gunsite.

Interesting concept

what they could do and this would take up alot of planning and info
they could research all or most of the squadrons from the WW2 database...or from somewhere like the Squadron webpage on Warbirds and have it there waiting for the Squadron to come along and take and apply it to there squad also the id markings on the side of the fuselage ie the Spits and BF109s etc ie on a spit MKIX i would have CMoR (my intitials and the "o" is the RAF insignia) so each pilot has something to feel cool about being in there own personalised plane...Nose arts guess a selection could be used and picked by Bomber pilots and other planes that had them
i know this wouldnt happen but its a interesting thought
