Of cpourse it's my fault that Ramzey never got his orders. I should contact Warloc personally and ask him abouyt that. I dod not and i'm, sorry!

Now as a CO of 308 Sqn:
I wasn't there and i can't say much about what happened on the arena, however i'm sure that we all are victims of a badluck - nothing more. Moose had problems with setup, Warloc misstyped a filed name... Ramzey overreacted. That's all.

I know why my guys are so frustrated about that ( i would be frustrated to if i was there!), but now when it's all the way cleear i would like to have few "cases" closed here.

Warloc, please accapt my apologies for some hard words adressed to you! Please look at this as a sign of a frustration of pilots who wanted to win this frame, not die "like this". I'm sure that we all learned something for this. I remember that you was a frame CO in my TOD and you made a great show... and we all are making mistakes. Keep you head up mate!

I'm sure you can handle it. ( by the way 3 of 308 officers were COing a frames before for thise who can't remember names: DInger/CFIT and FunkedUp were 2 of them )

Finally i don't want to see any mamber of 308 using "angry" word here. You are ordered to be friendly here

Absolutely guys, we all make mistakes... lets forget frame 2, (well not forget, but chock it up to a learning experience) and get on with frame 3.

Warloc, you did a good job, all else said, it's very hard being a frame CO and co-ordinating that which you had to.  We'll get em next time!

One suggestion though to CM's, maybe to make this a better TOD for next time, any possibility of dot dar, say within 15 Miles of the fields?  For both Allied and Axis, as Frame 1 still has the attack on allied soil.  Would still give the advantage of surpise, but maybe help with any other problems that come up.  Just a suggestion anyway.

And 272 squad had fun aswell, although we got to the fight a bit late.... (due to squad CO fault   )

Just to address some thoughts I've seen

Originally I placed the CV pretty far offshore for the launch of the F4Us. Not exactly 100 miles away but it was a little less then a sector away from the field per ROE for the frame. (couldnt be out of the sector in question)

I had enabled the 'warning range' for the bases, and it was set at 8 miles exactly

Was hoping that the field under attack would get a chance to get some planes up with those provisions, but it didn't happen.

My only taste of Polish is the stiff drink fdski gave me at the con. I think it improved my flying!

Ramzey your English is much better than my Polish, but to be safe bike better translate if/when you are a Frame C.O.

At 180 mph that gives the subject base 2 min 40sec to scramble planes.  In that time even the best squads will be caught low and slow.  It would always be a turkey shoot...

Well I agree with AndyH, I had an absolute blast.  First time I survived a whole frame in ages.  I was in a 190A5 there were 4 of us (Gremlin, Grayarea, Furzy, Skyman) we got engaged by 7 f4us.  The 7 f4us ended up dead with only one loss on our side (Lucull of the 308 sqn also helped us).  I now cant wait for frame 3 .  This is by far the most enjoyable TOD I have participated in.  I'm not just saying that cause I'm a CM, i really do mean that.
