As we all are well aware, the tv ad starts tomorrow on the Discovery Wings channel. I feel that we owe it to the hard working crew at HTC to step up and help whoever may show up. All too often we see the "newbs" asking question after question on channel 1 only to get misinformation, calls to RTFM, and stern advice to go to the training arena. We, as a community, need to police ourselves and help these potential subscribing members when the questions start popping up on the text buffer.
In most RC clubs, you will find guys more than willing to buddy-box new pilots and give good instruction because more RC pilots can only help the hobby. What we need is to view this as our hobby and try to help the new players along.
Sorry if this sounds preachy, HTC has been giving us an awesome sim and unequalled community input, its time we gave just a little bit of that same respect back.
