Author Topic: Ditch Bug on snow covered fields? (Read 490 times)

Hmm, I seem to have forgotten which field now... rats... anyway, one of the SW costal field has a snow covered runway. I tried landing on the runway, bloody hard to see it btw, and twice got "ditch" results. So I taxied into one of the VH looking hangers and also got a ditch result there.

Doesn't mattter too much to me, but I thought I should mention it.

Oh, and on a different subject. I wonder how hard it would be for HiTech to fix it so that Ack can't see right through the coulds...

On the Snow coverfields you nead to taxi to the rearm pad and then go to the tower to get a safe landing. Sundog explained this to me quiet some time ago I am sory I should of mentioned it in the MOTD, those snow covered fields are realy cool imo, I love the imershion on this map that ICE in the water looks great, I actualy put a sweater on yesterday while flying in their:)

Problem is at field A60 if you taxi to refuel pads nothing happens, no reloading or refueling occurs.
This makes you doubt you will get a safe landing so off you taxi to VH hangers exit to tower and get a ditch !

not just a60 any field that is similiar to the the a60 type there will be no good landings and no rearm.

Those rearm objects are destroyable with bombs btw. The samae problems are found on the summer version of this map.

on the regular fields it works on the dirt fields you wont

I just taxied to a rearm pad at a60, hit ".ef" and was awarded a ditch.

clicked on tower on this field rearm pad / after refuel didn't work and also ditched

I have goten suxcessfull landings at some of the snow fields on the reampad, and ditched on some others depends on the field though.
