I shot him down last night in the CT between 62 and 5.  Of course he said he was out of ammo so I guess it was just a lucky shot  
I'll tell you though it was hard getting him to stand still long enough to get a shot

Catch him on climbout from his rear base... make sure you taunt him enough on chan 1.. and have a friend loiter just within icon range so Frenchy worries whether or not he is going to get jumped by 2 or not.  Works for me and still ends up being bout even

Frenchy's easy to shoot down.

Just throw a bottle of cognac and he'll dive after it. Ping him once and watch him auger after the bottle.

Saw, you should hurry up, you have about 48h left to shoot me down. You failed because you always tried using a FW on a 1 Vs 1... Grab one of those 109s, flip-flop-ping-crack and you are done.
You are getting closer each time, yesterday you almost shot me down, except I was the other P47
