If you have just arrived in AH, or are considering opening a new Aces High account, you may be wondering if moving from one sim to another is going to be a piece of cake?  Here are my thoughts...

It was this article that lead me back to the AH site and decide to try it again.

Having played lots of different sims for many years I found it an interesting artilce and can relate with it.

On a side note I really enjoyed playing it last night...brought back memories of my old AW days (pre-Kes).  Seen lots of cooperation going on which was great (flew on Bishop side).

Even seen some callsigns that I havent seen in years

Sorry you are correct....gamestorm is what I meant to say.

Which GS didnt come into the picture until quite a bit later than that.  Only reason I had AOL (hate admitting that) for as long as I did was becuase AW was free at the time.

At some point the FM in even the FR just didnt cut it for me anymore...drive-thru headon shots, etc

Nice article Badboy.  Thanks for the analysis.  I took a look at your other articles and the Warbirds3 review interested me the most.  Something left out of that article was your opinion on how well the flight models are created.  I have not experienced any other flight sim, but I hold realistic flight modeling very important.  Therefore, I don't think I would fly MS Combat Flight Simulator for very long before wanting to switch back to AH.  Putting the differences between specific airplanes aside, how do the flight models stack up between AH and Warbirds3?  For example, in the above article, you compared the SpitIX from AW and AH.  Although they are very close, I prefer the AH modeled aircraft since it seems to create an environment that is closer to real life than the other.  IE: Energy management is a more significant concern.  What would you tell someone to expect on this topic, if they were to take a look at Warbirds3?

Thanks for your opinion.
