Is anyone using an EPOX 8K3A+
« on: October 17, 2002, 11:31:32 AM »
Just bought a refurb one from Newegg for $69, just wondering if anyone has any experience with this mobo.  I have a AGOIA XP1600+ I got from them as well.  I plan on overclocking it once I get a new case.  Also I have 2 256MB sticks of generic PC2100, will this be a bottleneck for me and do I need to upgrade to say PC2700 or PC3000, and if I do will I actually "see" the performance.

I have an Epox 8KHA+.  Not the same mobo, but I can tell you that it is the nicest mobo I've ever owned.  Beats Abit and Soyo easily.

I would replace the no-name memory with Corsair memory.  Speed will make a minimal difference, but if you can afford it, go with the fastest the board will support.
