This book was published about a year ago, and this 'news' magazine is just now reporting on it?  The reaction to books like this just proves how politicized the environmental movement is.

I have found that there are honest liberals but the vast majority toe the line and put on blinders while holding their ears and screamin naaaaannaaaanaaaa... everythime a fact is presented that contradicts their "feelings".

Read Lott's "more guns less crime"  a former "gun nut" (one who has nutty ideas about guns based on nothing but feelings) who, felt that his liberal buddies were doing a poor job in presenting the anti gun case.

He decided to arm himself with facts and prove how evil and moronic guns and their owners were.  The resulting book has heaped him in vitriol from his former buddies.   He is honest enough to admit that, while he was shocked about the gun issue, he was not shocked at the liberal response.   In "debates" (more like liberal lynch mobs) he has never been defeated on the facts in his book.   Every liberal that debates him finally resorts to... "well, the facts are wrong... it is obvious to any feeling human.."
