Its about upholding a tradition, that of one which you can say you were proud of to be part of.  Celebrating 1st downs by taunting other players isn't what sportsmanship is about, its about Barry Sanders placing the ball in the Refs hands, then going back and getting yet another TD.  Like I said, we're losing that sportsmanship...its all about "Look at me!" instead of teamwork in most games I see today.

I remember Walter Payton. He wore number 34. At that time in Chicago Bears, I remember William "The Fridge" Perry (72) and Mike Singletary (50). (I thought I liked Singletary, but went right off him when I discovered he was a fire and brimstone Christian - the worst kind) No idea about the positions they played in. I remember them winning superbowl 20. Beat the New England Patriots 46-10. I have now exhausted my knowledge of American football. There is as much chance of my understanding that as there is of you guys understanding cricket.
