So I got curious and checked out the link to the new armor assault.

wtf are they insane?

I mean if they want to present their game like some historical simulation they should at least do some *very* basic research.
Quote
participate in historical online battles like Battle of Britain, Invasion of Malta, and Tunisia Attack

And how does this sound for a ground combat simulator...
Quote
Includes over 49 aircraft, 11 bombers, 4 tanks, 4 ground vehicles and 4 ships.

Wohoo a whopping 4 tanks to choose from. But on the other hand, the tanks can slug it out with 4 ships (?)

This seems to be pure crap. Sad really...

I dont understand. Have they closed the door on warbirds to force people to buy a new disc?
Is warbirds now "world war 2 air combat" ?
THe grammar in those adds is pathetic..
"Operation Iron Fist:Take on a German tank like punching a hole through an allied town

Stem the Tide: take back Biggin Hill from invading the Germans"

wow

Armored assualt is just WBIII repackaged: you'll end up playing in the WBIII arenas. It's the same as the other WWII air combat one and the jet combat for that matter. They are basically selling WBIII to people that don't realize they could download it for free. Hey at least you get 2 "free" months subscription.

Basically IEN are accpeting that they can't make money with the traditional model so they are trying to market off various aspects of WB separatley as complete games to raise revenue. It smacks of deperation.

I doubt we will see many of the remaining die hards come over here. Most will probably wait for TK/TR.
