With all due respect, anyone who thinks Hondas have no soul has never driven an S2000. Perfect 50-50 weight distribution, 240 horsepower out of 2 liters, and 9000 r.p.m. redline.

It's noisy as hell, but I love my Stook!

The S2000 should've been an Acura.  And the uniforms the techs wear at F1 races should say "Acura", too.  But hey, they're all Honda guys.  With the death of the Prelude, Honda really only sells the Civic, Accord, a minivan, and 2 SUVs.  The S2000 is horribly misplaced in the Honda selling line-up.

I like the design and engineering of the S2000 (too bad it looks like the BMW at first glance).  I'm not too keen on the black and red leather interiors, either.  Nice ride, though.

I'd say that all modern automobiles are over-engineered.  They're almost impossible to work on.  Do you remember the days when you could adjust your own carburetor, change the spark plugs and the oil filter and the gas filter and the belts and time everything without out having to take it back to the dealer and pay some "automotive engineer" $50 an hour to take it apart just to change the plugs?  Remember straight six and slant-six and v-8 engines that were anvil tough and user-friendly?

You can have all this modern crap.

Regards, Shuckins

Then he wasnt trying.

Nah seriously - I dunno what Subaru you drive - I assume a WRX?  If so - I think you could probably dust any N/A 911 built prior to 1984 in a "stop light" race stock for stock - but engage at your own peril any product of Stuttgart that says "Turbo" on the back.  We elitest P-car nuts dont participate in such low class demonstrations of testosterone, however... honest.  :D

Come to the track and well show you what "fast" really means.
