I spent $3 on a 2-inch binder and printed off the online Help section for reading. I remapped the keyboard to match other flight sims that I use, for example g for gear, h for hook, d to drop flaps, f to raise flaps, spacebar for divebrake, e three times to eject!eject!eject!, a to alternate secondary weapons, r for range mic, t for tunable mic, and so forth. I also printed off info from
http://www.netaces.org and some posts from this bulletin board. After that, it was just a matter of trying all of the planes until I found one that I liked. To make this fun, I adopted a policy of flying the plane that shot me down last.
