Squad "Operation Sevestatopol"
Last night the 325th Checkertails were ordered to hit, close and capture A-59 while Vf-27 hit A-61 pushing the Germans back north away from the Port of Sevestatopol area. Bar dar lit up real well there for a while but no one defended these fields....we were called milk runners.

Then we were ordered to assists allies with A-1, we sent in a sneek attack with at least six Il-2 aircraft, unescorted, we came in fast, hit hard and I was called a "Vulcher Tard"... :D  Thats the CT for ya Thats the first time I have seen oldman upset. I was doing my job, dont take-off from a field being attacked. You are a threat during squad runs and you will be disposed of!

oh yeah, thas jester00 destroying the mission abjective for A-1, the departing Bf-109 was a threat and destroyed. The other Bf-109 that was able to depart, shot down two of our Il-2s.

This is the "Combat Arena" not the Gentleman's Arena

oldman it was not my intention to use your incident for this example but is what I have been also guilty of in the past. Other than squad nights, I dont resort to vulching as much as posable. But I did yell about getting vulched just because "they" were vulching and no strat (combat) target.

some people feal base capture is not a good thing, that fighting in the air is what they are their for and that alone and anything thats gets in their way of doing that is well not their cup of tea.

I live to vulch howeaver so I may be biased:), I also play the game to aclomplish somthing and that is take their fields , and live while doing it. I will not vulch if their only a few on and it is clear that no field is going down but other than that thats why I am their to take bases, and most of the time it is nessary to supress the field to do so.

I would not take it personaly hawk, sticks and stone's, after all it's not like you shot him in his chute or anything:)

Heh heh.  Guess I should have put a smilie face in the buffer.  Was only trying to mimic our eloquent Shane, P6E.  I wasn't serious, and I'm sorry you took it that way.  Will have to be more careful with what I say.

Now that you mention it, though, I do hate base capture in the CT, and particularly on maps like this one, where the bases are so far apart.  I logged because the nearest, NON-VULCHED base was quite a distance off.  When you're ACM challenged like me, and death will predictably occur within a few seconds of the commencement of combat, you just hate spending all that time flying to the combat zone.

So....YEAH, now that you mention it, you're a lamer dweeb tard vulcher!  Both of you!  You just WAIT until I see your loser pointmongering parachutes floating around!

KILLER PIC HAWK! Damn I look good! :D

As for base bombing and closure - the 325th FG was formed to be an ATTACK Squad in the CT. So you guys "Furball" all you want but you better keep one eye on your bases. You never know when the "Checkertails" will come swarming in out of the sun! ;)

Not at all Oldman, calling guys vulch tards is what I have been guilty of in the past and still do if they are vulching just to get easy kills, vulching during a strike mission is to protect our flight.

In other words, I hated to see it was you and you probably didnt see that first one comming, but the second one......

Anyway, my main reason for the post was that we get yelled at no matter what we do. We are either called MilkRunners or Vulchers. Oldman just happened to be the one in the pic.. :D

Dont shoot my chute, I have kids at home waiting for me :(

Besides, A60 and A-61 are not far apart, it was not captured on purpose but closed for only what, less than 15 min? Our mission was to capture one base, not go after every base one by one till the war is over as in the MA.

I dont bail anymore, it is pointless unless your near your base because it counts as a death anyway.
