AH error message
« on: January 11, 2003, 02:32:19 AM »
This past week I formated my HD got rid of 98SE and installed WIN2K pro on my machine. I downloaded AH at work (we have DSL there) burned it onto a CD and installed it last night. Everytime I would go to start Aces High I would get this message.

"The ordinal 12 could not be located in the dynamic link library DSOUND.dll."

I thought maybe I had a corrupted file so I downloaded it again today but I'm still getting the same message. I updated all my drivers for my soundcard and even tried the drivers I was using before I switched OS's, nothing worked. Other than that I really dont know what else I can do. Does anybody have any ideas on how to fix this problem???????? I hope????? Please??????

specs:
Windows 2000 Professional With service Pack 3
AMD Athlon 950
Asus A7VKT133 Motherboard
384 Megs of RAM
Soundblaster Live! Value

You need DirectX 8.1b or later.  (preferably DirectX8.1b)
