Time out. Enough is enough of this AH-AGW bull

 In the past I'd always tended to believe that the WB's community was the more mature of the online flight sim communities. Reportedly more professional, better educated and predominately above such jeuvinile past timnes such as flame wars and tit-for-tat posts. However in the past several months I've witnessed more assinine cross-posting, in here by AGWer's and at AHer's at AGW, than I ever though possible. It's like two kindergartens classes who say they have the best toys, the best recess and the best paint by hand hour. I see behavior that previously WBers would get all foo foo about and thumb thier nose at the AWiers and FAers players for being this way.

 Whats the problem?  Why put us ALL through this roadkill here?

 At this point in time I don't bother to post about AH to my ex-AirWarrior brethren because they know about AH already and where to get the news. Although I couldn't resist with the Yak screen shot. But to keep posting sitreps or news releases about AH causes no small amount of animosity towards me for many different reasons and I stopped quite a while ago.
  I see the same by some folks here who, on the basis of still having accounts at iEN, do likewise at AGW.  Why flagellate yourselves anymore and cause everyone here to have to endure this crap? Just please stop.

The reason is because alot of us have known eachother on-line for many years and have even met and become friends. Alot of us have moved to AH and some of us have stayed in WB.

Some people here think because we don't hold an account with one or the other simms we should end, in some cases, 8 year relationships with fellow simmers.

What I think is immature is when we talk about the flaws, likes, and dislikes about each simm and people get angry and start posting "get off this board" threads. IMO that's a load of crap.

We've being talking about FM's, performance,and gameplay issues with eachother for years - that is the foundation of our relationships and an interest we have in common.

Why can't I discuss with people I have known for years why I like certain features in AH better than WB or vice versa? Why do some people take it as a personal attack?

When a thread about physics modelling turns into a flame war about where the post belongs - it is that "holier than thou" poster/censor that is immature and causing the problem.

If you can't stomach threads that compare simms or have information about different simms, perhaps you should mind your own business and let people who *are* interested discuss whatever they hell they want to without interference.
