Good article, but nothing I didn't already know.  Good illustrations.  I think its a re-publishing of a nice handbook that one of their writers had developed a few years back for PC sim pilots.  If I recall, the handbook also talked about the key advantages and disadvantages of the padlock view system vs the AW-style view system.
