Can we keep Fin-Rus up?

I have really enjoyed the terrain and gameplay that has resulted from this map.  The fact that it ran concurrent with pizza in the MA has given the CT a needed lift.  Any chance we can keep it running for next week as well?

I'll take an island map and PTO as long as you throw in a couple of REAL planes ... namely the 109f4 and 109g6

There weren't any 109s in the Pac. Well ... except for the Japanese ripoff .... the Ki-61. Try it.

Me and all the Finns are very pleased from your opinions to keep FinRus running, but there's really many other good maps, too.

Tomorrow is coming 10bears's new Hungary map and I checked it yesterday Offline. It's very cool map and the plane setup is very same kind of than in Finland vs Russia (added with 1945 planes Yak 9U, La7, 109G10, Dora etc.).

I think we all enjoy it very much and remeber: Hungarians are Finns distant relative nation. They don't have so many lakes in Hungary than in Finland, but plain land (pusta) they have enough!:D

But maybe we can have more Europe maps than Pacific Ocean maps in CT: Battle of Brittain, Greece, Germany, Hungary, Finland vs Russia etc.? I have noticed that there is always more players than in Pacific Ocean maps...

Kanttori - Thats because AH has such a CRAPPY plane set for the Japanese - not from lack of intrest in PTO set-up's IMHO.

Get some better planes for the Japanese to fly and you will see much better action.

While I will admitt Kanttori's map is one of the best I have seen in AH, the Finn/German vs. Russian plane set just leaves me cold. Sorry.

Would like to see more later war Western Front European & Early War PTO set-ups.

Hey Andijk! AH has a grappy plane setup for the FinRus map, too. We need there next early war (1941) fighters to Finns:

Brewster Model 239 (BW is most busy! )
Curtiss Hawk 75 A (busy)
Morane Saulnier MS 406
Fiat G50
(Now we have only Hurricane I, Bf 109 G2 and G6)

And next fighters To Russians:

LaGG-3 (busy)
MiG-3 (busy)
P-39 Airacobra (busy)
Polikarpov I-16
Polikarpov I-153
Yak-1 and Yak-7

As you can see, most of them are early war (1939-41) fighters. After adding those fighters we could have very interesting setups to FinRus map between timeline 1941-1944!

There is becoming a new Murmansk area map from Camo and me. We need there new Russian fighters, too. Germany fighters situation is good to FinRus and becoming Murmansk maps, we have there all we need...

I have nothing against adding more Japanese fighters, but as you know I am Finnish and my interestings are in European battle fields.

I am optimist and I know after 1-2 years Aces High's Finns, Russian and Japanese fighter situation is very much better. Isn't it?

  If we had the earler planes Kanntori. listed we could run two distinc plane set's on his map one for the First war and one for the contunation war, now that would be realy neat:)
