That thing is for the media. Gives them something to talk about and avoids the "they didn't warn us!" after something happens.

No duh

But look at the aftermath of 9/11, the media trumped out the "What the government knew and didnt do before hand".

Ofcourse its a "feel good" solution, you libs usually like that kinda stuff.

But theres 2 faces to "Homeland Security". The "look how we are on the Job" and the stuff that happens behind the media. That "gestapo" stuff as some call it.
