Leph, all flights will terminate at the reset with the sortie being counted as landed.

Ow, that's gonna leave a mark. As I overheard in a bar once (re:reading between the lines) : "Boy, you ain't gotta dig through the poop to find out if there's any corn in it. There probably is, but it's still poop." Many, many expletives deleted of course.

Cool, so now I'm likely to get at least a couple landings per month.

Well I for one am very happy to see this change in reset handling.  While its funny as hell when its the other guys, there isnt anything pleasurable about having your squad on the runway for a strike when the reset occurs....POOF....the base you were on is suddenly an NME base and the ack starts having fun.

News sounds great.

Now the players who don't like whatever map they are on will have a reason to drive for a reset.

I especially like the "Reset causes all active missions to be landed" change.  That will kill two birds with one stone.

There is sometimes justice in the arena reset as it is now.

I remember the bish had about half the map and the rooks were down to two fields (one was A9). Basically, most of the knights seemed to be bent on capturing A9, handing the reset to... the Bish.

A handful of use were fighting up north against the bish when A9 was finally taken by us. And the Bish won.

Suddenly the 30 Knights around A9 are stranded about 250 miles from the nearest friendly base, while the handful up north were a mere 25 miles from safety.
