well, i have these 3 programs
gamespy, mdal of honor spearhead, and another program...
all 3 use the internet
i used to be able to use them,
one day they wouldnt connect anymore, and it's only these 3 programs
gamespy at first jsut would come up with page cant be displayed, then i reinstalled and it comes up saying "Sorry, unable to validate email. This can occur if your internet connection is unstable or you are connecting through an overly restrictive firewall"
and the other program says it forcefully rejects my connection
do u kno how to fix?

oh ya, AH doesnt connect either

If you are using a software firewall like McAfee or ZoneAlarm, make sure that you have given access permission to those programs so they can access the internet.

If you are using a hardware firewall, like those built into routers, make sure you either have the computer you are using set up in the 'DMZ' or the correct ports open so these programs can access the internet.

and how would i go about all this?
i have zone alarm, but i dont use it, so i dont think thats the problem......

never mind, i'm a moron, i opened up zone alarm, anc found out that it had shut off access to these prgrams, and a few others.....and then i stopped using it, so the access stayed off....and now it's all working again...
god i'm a tard
