Hi all,
Well we had a well fought frame 1 for Operation Husky.
Due to real life problems the Axis CO had to leave during the frame and this certainly lead to incorrect targeting during the last 1/2 hour or so of the frame.
Allies
A12 - Hit twice and basically leveled
V87 - Hit once and destroyed
Axis
A1 - Hit once, significant damage
CV60 - Initial strike was in the correct zone. Second strike sank an un tasked CV group, no score.
This frame is a minor Allied victory.
Several squads turned out significantly below the numbers as set in the HQ. Please try and make sure people turn up, otherwise we will continue to have difficulty setting realistic objectives.
