Q:explosions bitmaps

aircraft explosion bitmaps belongs to terrain like ground objectt fire or to AH client?
Same tracers, smokes?

yes, to the terrain file itself, not the host.

Smoke also, but not tracers.

Hiya Ramzey,
   I *believe* that the air explosion uses the Large Ground Explosion textures (LGDEXP1.bmp... etc... I think there are 18 steps! Don't forget the alphas!) ... from the Editor, export the EXPAIR and EXPLGND objects.

About the tracers question... I was confused when I answered the first time:
   There IS a texture for the bullets themselves (export BULLET object, filename is TRACER.bmp + alpha) but there does not seem to be a texture for the bullet trails. I think this is rendered differently from other objects.

I hope this helps.

ps. Here is one way to look at it... Everything in the game resides in your computer, and only things like aircraft positions, etc., are handled by the Host.
