minus:

ya should have dragged back to us M16's

Well, at least maximus spotted my M16 that was way south of A5 at full speed in pursuit of running aircraft

He ate hot lead, and died. Then commented that we were cowards for not taking up planes to be vulched.

That lagger is a true gem  .

Minus-

My apologies if I misinterpret what you are saying (I see you are French, and your English is better than my French!).

If I can infer from the header you are not having fun when one plane against 6 enemies, the answer is simple; don't do it.

If you pick a fight with someone near their own base, count on getting mobbed. With the MA settings for radar it is easy to see in most cases that there is plenty of activity nearby, and you should consider that fact when you engage. Very few people are going to circle overhead while you finish your meal in peace; if you come into range of enemy planes, they will come for you, and come even faster if you are alone.

Flying into multiples can be fun though, if you don't sweat survival. Sometimes I do it to see how many of them I can get before I buy it.

Interestingly enough, me and my wingman approached BISH HQ 2 evenings ago, 25 miles ahead of a large formation of friendly bombers.  At an altitude of 25k, we arrived within 5 miles of Bish HQ and met no less than 3 ponies, 2 F4U's and 1 109...at Co-alt.  They all turned and ran, presumably for altitude.  I  love when a plan comes together.  Fear me.

LOL.. I was there. We had reports of incomming buffs to our HQ at 25 to 30k. We had no intrest in tangoing with the advance fighters. We were ordered to ignore you, and go for the higher buffs.

So we did.

Besides, my sista warned me about yah.

15 bombers, 4 did not survive, as I said, we did our job.   (or course in WW2, these losses would have been unacceptible, but alas, we had P51's and F4U's attacking B17's, so those losses are VERY acceptable in AH   )

Hang, who was giving orders?  Just curious, if you have a 6 vs 2 situation, with bombers coming in, wouldn't be prudent to assign 2 fighters to engage the 2 escort? Thus, 2 doesn't drive 6 away?

Dunno. I do recall "ignore the figters. get the buffs"

Seemed like a good idea to me; at the time. I did wind up tangling with an AK pony escort at high alt that got between me and a buff.. and then got scorched by an F4U while I was trying to regrab.

Some yah win.. some yah lose.

LOL...well I didnt post this before because I did want to calm down a bit...

2 nights ago Wilbus (dont remember his plane) and me (109G10) were fighting with 2 Fw190s ,2 spitfires and 1 C205, low on the deck. Up at 15-25K there were a massive wave of bishop B17s and B26s bombing A31.

You may say we were hoppeless...but at least I was holding my own quite nicely (and I think wilbus was ok too)...when a DWEEB B26 dives from 20K to the deck and starts turnfighting with us making it a 6-2, and of course he started firing his damned lazers. I only got ping for a moment and the friggin left elevator and rudder broke, wich left me defenceless to a fw190 that came on my 6. Of course I died at his hands as I had no means of maneouvering out of his sight.

This must END. If you have a B26 ABLE to turnfight , with lazers optimized to reach 1.8K and hit, and with FRIGGIN GUNNERS ABLE TO FIRE AND HIT ON A HIGH G TURN!!!!!! then YOU MUST turn down something!!!!

That dweeb pěssed me off and I exploded like I havent done in a lot of time.

THIS MUST END. 5-2 odds furball and a B26 comes down TO TURNFIGHT!?....firing his lasers in 4G PULLS????????? (at least)

FIX THE DAMNED TURBOLAZERS!

RAM------------------------>tired of turning bomber dweebs

Ram, out

I WANT THIS PLANE!!!!!!!

Well maybe...but I dont whine about B26's turning, only, in fact it is the lesser of the problems here.

The problem is firing from turrets doing 4-5G maneouvers...the 1.8K accurate uberlasers...etc

I gotta agree with you on the turbo lazers Ram. Way to much firepower for 50s.
