WWII costume Ideas for Halloween
« on: October 07, 2003, 11:49:03 AM »
We got a costume party in my office comming up and I want a WWII themed costume.  I would like to go as Col. Hogan or maybe as just a generic US aviator complete with goggels and hat etc.  Any body know where to go to rent or buy such a thing??

Imagine going to work as Col. Hockstader  ?  Not very funny in todays PC work enviroment...

Bought some goggles from a place called "Cheaper then Dirt" best price I could find. Would be a great start to your costume, and you might find your hat and other stuff there too.

Get ready to spend some cash.

On the upside, it'll be cold enough soon to wear that leather flight jacket on a daily basis.

The real thing:

http://www.flightsuits.com

They handle the member's flight jacket orders for the Sun n Fun/Florida Air Museum in Lakeland, Florida and do good work.

If you want to go as an airline pilot, try:

http://www.sportys.com/pilotshop/

You might try poking around at http://www.ebay.com and see what turns up.

I have a flight suit.
However, so many people here are military pilots in training, wearing overalls for Halloween would be retarded.
